Milligan's Maple Glazed Turnips


  • 4 whole turnip plants

  • Milligan's Maple Bourbon Barrel Aged maple syrup

  • Hot sauce

  • Edible flowers (I used black locust)

  • Fennel fronds

  • Apple Cider Vinegar

  • Olive Oil

  • Salt


1. Chop your turnip into bite sized pieces and toss in olive oil and salt.

2. Roast turnips in a 450 degree oven until fork tender.

3. Thinly slice turnip greens and add to a bowl with flowers and fennel.

4. Dress greens in maple syrup, olive oil and vinegar. Season with salt.

5. When turnips are done roasting, glaze in maple syrup and hot sauce

6. Dig in and enjoy!
