Milligan's Maple Syrup
*For every pound of berries use a cup of maple syrup.
Directions
1. Combine your berries with the maple in a pot and cook the berries until they get mushy.
2. Reduce your liquid by half so it gets nice and thick!
*Mulberries and blackberries are LOW IN PECTIN (this is what typically thickens a jam).
By reducing the jam by half you don’t need to add any pectin and are left with a nice thick consistency.
